For the treatment of acne, there are many different topical creams, oral tablets and machine based therapies such as lasers that can be considered.
Different medications and treatments act on the different pathways that causes acne and sometimes a combination may be warranted.
For acne scars, treatment really depends on the type of acne scar that has formed. It could be as simple as a non-intensive pigment laser for acne scar pigment or something more intense for deeper scars such as subscision, skin resurfacing etc.
A consult with your doctor will be the first step in determining the most effective and suitable plan for your future treatments.
All the best!

Acne can be very frustrating and it sounds like you are still having very active acne.
The treatment for acne ranges from topical treatment to oral systemic medication like oral antibiotics or vitamin A analogues for more resistant or severe acne. Most acne can be well-controlled with the right treatment so I do think that you should see your doctor/dermatologist to get your acne reassessed and for the appropriate to be prescribed.
For acne scars, there are various treatment options including chemical peels, non ablative lasers, subcision, and fractional lasers that can help to improve the appearance of the scars. Again your doctor can advise you on the benefits of each treatment and suggest the most suitable treatment for you.
