Thank you for your question.
“I would like to know if there is such a thing as enamel restoration?”
I think that the ‘enamel restoration’ you are referring to are the tooth coloured fillings that replace your lost enamel structure due to erosion? If so, we would definitely be able to help you with that.
However at times, fillings may not be required as non invasive methods e.g. application of desensitising agents on the teeth and lifestyle habits may aid in your sensitivity.
It is important for you to try and cut down the intake of acidic food and drinks e.g. oranges, lemon juice, coke etc to prevent further erosion on your teeth. Do rinse your mouth, and make sure you do not brush immediately after food intake as the enamel layer tends to be softer and wears more easily. You could wait at least 30min-1hour before doing so. Use a soft bristled toothbrush with gentle strokes too.
“If so, could you recommend me a dentist for this procedure, please.”
Any dentist would be able to help you with your fillings, unless they are too severe, which may then require specialist management, which your dentist would be able to advise you accordingly.
You could also take a look at the list here which are my personal recommendations. http://doctorxdentist.com/5-best-dental-clinics-singapore-dentists-go-themselves/ However, do note that the clinics are on the pricier end.
Hope this helps!
